FDOE #7- Tub Life

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July! I got to spend it with some amazing people and I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Now these eats were from last Friday at my new job! Since its been way too long since I have done a What I Ate Wednesday, lets get right down to it!

2 “fried eggs” + 2 slices of white american cheese on a plain Bagel

Lately I have been loving these egg sandwiches in the morning. It takes a little bit more time to cook than an omelette or scrambled eggs, but it is so worth it! I make it so that the yolk is basically a hard boiled egg texture, which is what makes it totally amazing!



2 Greek Yogurts W/ Cereal + Watermelon + Zone Perfect Bar + Fiber One Bar + Goldfish crackers


Lunches have been eaten at the office lately, so tub life it is! I pretty much eat this same meal everyday for lunch. I love it cause its packed with protein and keeps me full throughout the rest of the day. I usually eat the yogurt + cereal and watermelon at lunch and then save the bars for around 3pm. And finally I’ll snack on the goldfish while I drive home as my pre-workout carbs.



Black bean pasta w/ red sauce

One thing that I love about where I live in FL is that there is a Sprouts and Whole foods within 20 minutes of where I live. Well one of the things that I have found at Sprouts that I love is this Black Bean pasta (Amazon Link if your curious). But I am absolutely loving the macros, 2F, 26C, 25P! You honestly can’t do better than that in terms of protein content. Now of course it doesn’t taste exactly like normal pasta, but cover it in enough sauce and you’ll never notice the difference! Also, it doesn’t really taste like black beans as far as I can tell, if that’s not your ish.


Since dinner is usually eaten pretty late, sometimes closer to 9pm. I don’t really eat dessert anymore, which is something I used to do a lot. If I eat any its a strawberry cheesecake yogurt. But by the time I cook and eat its pretty late and I have to head to bed shortly. I hate having to eat so close to bed but that’s something I have been trying to work on. Between getting home from work at 7 and then going straight to the gym, it really pushes dinner time back a lot. But hopefully that can change relatively soon.

  1. Your breakfast sandwich made me crave bagels. Also, I’m jealous you have Sprouts and Whole Foods so close. The closest Whole Foods is about a 2 hour drive, so whenever I get the chance to go there, I have to stock up on all the things I can’t get at regular grocery stores. And black bean pasta sounds awesome 🙂

    1. Thats the way to do it! I used to do that when I lived far away from Trader Joe’s. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have both nearby.

  2. I love zoodles and sweet potato noodles – but i do love plain old homemade pasta. There’s nothing like the fresh dough of fresh pasta and homemade sauce. Yum!

    1. Nothing beats homemade fresh pasta! My dad used to make it when I was little and its impossible to go wrong!
